I take back my last tweet. OS X Internet Recovery did manage to re-install a bootable 10.8.4 on my Haswell MBA. I just had to do it twice…

Okay. Apprently, Apple’s System Recover installs a 10.8.4 kernel that DOESN’T boot on the latest MBAs. That sucks big t#bad##failfail
